Unfortunately there are people fast approaching pension age that have NEVER CONTRIBUTED... other than spawning begetting shite, but for some strange reason they seem to have the same rights if not more than the ones who have all their lives.. and this also seems to include the same benefits as pens...

I didn't know that. I also didn't know that fishing quotas allocated to fisherman

And you blame that for the demise of hull Hull had the largest fishing fleet in the UK probably second only to Russia regardless of its % of GDP, locally it was devastating. The Common Fisheries Policy allows any EU country to fish up
to our shore line, and EU quota allocations mean that france etc
take 3 times what we do from our waters within 12 miles and beyond.
