Came across this on youtube.

Set in 1973 : before the bridge, Bransholme was new, some good shots of how Hull / Hessle Rd used to be , Alexander Hotel round the corner from Discretion etc etc

give it another couple of weeks and I cud put on Scotty 40 years ago! :( :lol: ..

saying that think I was less than 10 when I made my 1st visit to Hull, all them years ago, aint changed that much :whistle: , I remember the fascination with the Humber Bridge ..

Thanks for posting that Bert.

Had lots of relatives on Bransholme when I was kid, so spent a fair bit of time there and recognized a lot of it.

Very interesting to see the (misery) maisonettes, I had an Uncle, Aunty and three cousins who lived in them and I remember when they bulldozed them.

I'll have to download it to have a proper look, but cheers Bert. :D In the open sequence I spotted soething that hasn't been around that I know of since 81, I remember being one of the last to travel on it before it closed.

nope but i do remember them some years after as some parts haven,t changed too much and the maisonettes i remember very well :lol:
